Oracle Identity Manager
The Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) product is a relatively new addition to the suite of identity and access management (IAM) products from Oracle. It delivers provisioning services to enterprise systems utilizing a flexible model that supports user self-service, the automation of provisioning through roles, and delegation.
Our Track Record with Oracle Identity Manager:
Since the product's introduction, our IdM clients had shown a lot of interest in OIM. We are now proud to report that we have successfully completed an OIM production implementation. Our depth of knowledge and experience in identity management (see our experience with Sun Identity Manager) allows us to quickly provide strategic direction and implementation advice to our customers. OIM has a steep learning curve, and we see that there are few implementations that can be considered "out of the box". However, with the product's flexibility, our talented Java developers are easily able to extend the functionality of OIM to meet very specific requirements.
Enterprises are increasingly required to ensure that access to their systems complies with industry regulations and meets audit requirements. The foundation for a manageable and compliant enterprise identity management solution starts with a robust provisioning system like Oracle Identity Manager.
