On October 21-22, 2021, Nulli’s Hyma Pandyaram will present “Teaching CyberSafety to Children” at BSides Calgary. Hyma will provide parents with five specific strategies to help their children develop safe online practices while interacting with an app, a website, a game, or a stranger online.
Practical steps discussed will help establish and keep communication channels open to discuss children’s online experiences and connect with, get involved in, and support local organizations promoting cyber safety among children. Discussions around how to engage and support local organizations promoting cyber safety for children will also be addressed.
