We have an opening for a DevOps Specialist to support our Identity and Access Management Team. We are looking to expand our talent base. If DevOps is your passion we would like to hear from you. Knowledge of IT security and Identity Management would be highly valued but is not necessary. This will be a wonderful learning opportunity for the successful candidate.

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Build DevOps solutions that comply with best practices, using a variety of tools on different platforms. 

  • Contribute to Nulli product and tool development as well as client projects.

  • Work collaboratively as a member of a team to analyze client requirements and architect strategies and technical solutions. 

  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis to solve DevOps challenges and optimize deployments.

  • Challenge the status quo and contribute through innovation.

  • Develop and expand on your knowledge base of expertise and experience.

More about you:

  • 3+ years in Sys Admin or other role requiring focussed expertise in DevOps/DevSecOps. 

    • Linux OS such as Debian/Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS.

    • DevOps practices, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) project implementation.

  • Confident in the day-to-day use of:

    • Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet.

    • CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket or Gitlab Pipelines, Jenkins, Travis CI.

    • Infrastructure-as-Code automation tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.

    • Agile methodology.

    • Containerization: Docker, containers, Kubernetes, Helm.

    • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.

  • Familiarity with:

    • Shell scripting and programming languages for debugging/troubleshooting purposes such as Bash, Perl, Python, Java, Go, JavaScript.

    • Testing development and automation.

    • Micro-service and application architecture.

    • Performance Tuning / Monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus.

  • Ability to build innovative solutions.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to explain just about anything to anyone.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; you enjoy working with others.

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma majoring in Computer Science is preferred but not necessary.

  • A sense of humour.
